Hertford Town Football Club – Charity Day
On Saturday (19/09/2015), Hertford Town FC will be hosting a charity day with our friends from Bengeo Tigers to raise money for two very worthy causes.
Mudlarks Community Gardens and Children With Cancer UK will again be the beneficiaries of all funds raised on the day following on from the amazing success of our last charity day back in March this year.
Prior to the 1st Team fixture against Sun Sports FC at 3pm, the youth teams from Bengeo Tigers and our very own Hertford Town inclusive side will be gracing the hallowed turf at The Park, playing exhibition games on the main pitch from midday watched by our Lady Mayor, Cllr Linda Radford who will also be attending, joining the growing Stable End faithful!
We will also be adding to the usual matchday entertainment with Chelsea vs Arsenal (12:45pm KO) in the clubhouse, live music being provided by the Bad Men in front of the main stand following the game at around 5pm and a huge hog-roast & BBQ from 1pm to satisfy even the hungriest of pork-loving tummies!
So please come along on Saturday, enjoy a fun day out and support grassroots community football… plus help us to raise some money for two very deserving causes.
Mudlarks and Sainsbury’s Fundraising
There is no council commercial recycling collection in Hertford, unlike the domestic recycling, so we have been driving our cafe recycling up to the recycling centre at Westmill. This has been tricky to manage, so we have been trying to find a better solution, and now we have one, thanks to Hertford’s community spirit.
Waitrose are going to recycle all our cans for us, The Six Templars are taking all our glass and Sainsburys are taking all our cardboard and plastic.
Thank you so much to all of these local businesses. You have helped us, and of course the environment!
Mudlarks offers organisations the opportunity for their employees to become involved in horticultural and environmental projects on company days. For more information contact Vic Hobson on 07835 714766 or by email: email@example.com
NCS team July 2015
Thank you so much to the fabulous NCS team who came and helped at the allotments and then ran such a fabulous fun day at The Meads for us. We really appreciate all of your help and hard work.

Summer Breeze 2015
Thank you to everyone who took part in our wonderful day of bike rides around Hertfordshire and our mini-festival at Scott House and helped to raise an amazing £6,500 for Mudlarks. The money will go to support our gardeners and trainees with learning difficulties and mental health issues at the allotment site and cafe in Hertford. Our thanks also go to our team of tireless volunteers who gave up so much time and effort to ensure the day ran so smoothly – we could not do it without you.
Much of the work of Mudlarks depends on the generous donations of our supporters. If you’d like to set up a regular payment to Mudlarks, or make a one-off contribution, this can be done via the Charity Choice link or contact Vic at Mudlarks.
